First things first...Thank you all so much for your lovely comments during yesterday's blog hop! Wasn't it fun to see all the wonderful
Sweet 'n Sassy images!! And next for the winner of the Milton Reading digi image...it's....
Congratulations Vicki!! Please contact me at
ksdm@comcast.net to redeem your image.
Next...here is Sunday's Keep it Simple card! This is a card using the 'chalkboard' technique, which I'll be teaching at
Wholly Scrap class on Friday evening. I'll also be teaching the 'bleaching' and 'acrylic resist' techniques, using
Tim Holtz's brand new stamp sets!!
The chalkboard technique is super easy...To create this look, use VersaMark ink to stamp a solid image on to dark (I used a dark grey) cardstock. Then use chalks to dab color onto the stamped image. Use a swiffer cloth to get rid of any extra chalk. That's it! Super easy and a super easy card! The DP is a new release from Basic Grey and the ribbon is from
Papertreyink. The little butterfly is also from the new
Tim Holtz sets.
Enjoy!!
