So This is Love

I have always loved this justjohanna tree and I finally had an opportunity to use it last month. You can purchase this Spring tree, with the flower and leaf buds or a winter tree, minus the leaves. I'm partial to the Spring tree since living in the Northeast, the first signs of Spring is a welcome event after a cold winter!

Two little Al Owls have been added to my tree, the one getting a wee bow on it's head to create an Alberta and an Al...sittin' in the tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g...hee hee (Is that just a diddy kids in the US like to torture each other with when they're young?)

My sky and grass background paper is a few set from Stampin' Up! that is so Springy and fresh, full of beautiful soft colors and flowers! I created the first two rows of grass by using my SU! corner punch to make scallops. The then gave them a bit of aging for depth. And the chipboard heart has been colored and dipped in clear embossing powder to give it a glossy finish.

This was a fun card to create...like a little scene out of a woodland fairytale...

Happy Daydreaming!

Cute, cute, cute. I just used the same tree today -- putting my Earth Day challenge card together. I agree, it is an awful nice stamp.
