Goin' to the Chapel...

I'm headed out to NY next week for my brother's wedding so I have wedding cards on my mind...I haven't made his card yet but this is a card that I made for my cousin who got married six months ago (see how behind I am on my postings!!) :-)

I created a 6x6 album for the happy couple as well and the paper that is covering the chipboard heart on the card was used throughout the album. It's a beautiful, shimmery paper with a great feeling to it. The backside of the paper has the same shimmery quality but is a green on green color. All this boasting and, sorry but I don't recall the vendor...

I wanted a very elegant type of card but felt the heart on the plain cream was too plain so I embossed a second, smaller piece of cream cardstock and attached it with four silver brads. The hint of a pale blue ribbon also echoed the design of the album. The sentiment was a rub on, don't remember that vendor either, that I picked up at a neat little scrapbook store in a neighboring town.

Another quick and easy card! Enjoy! (Maybe I'll post some photos of the album tomorrow...humm..that sounds fun!)
