Welcome to this week's Friday Feature with Sweet 'n Sassy stamps! This week we're featuring the new Happy Home stamp set...seriously darling set, which is just perfect for creating little scenes!
For my "scene," I started by cutting out a few hills from the Natural paper pad from Authentique (aren't those colors perfect for hills?) I then used the Wendy Vecchi Sunburst stencil, and Wild Honey Distress Ink, to stencil the rays onto a piece of text paper (also from Authentique). The house and trees were stamped on cardstock and watercolored, using Distress Markers and a water brush. Then it was time to assemble! The hills were faux stitched and the house and tress tucked under the hills. The last item was to add two clouds, cut out using a cloud die. The sentiment was stamped on the bottom hill.

Kim, this is so sweet! I love your patterned papers and sunburst!
Beautiful card Kim. Love the background with the text and the sun rays... the coloring is amazing.
PS: Do you know anyone in the area who does decoupaging? Looking for a class in the Concord area.
The patterned papers and the sunburst are perfect for your card, Kim!
The stenciled sunburst on text paper is perfect with this little scene. It really caught my eye. Love the distressing as well.
Fabulous. I like the book print background and the sunburst.
