Sweet 'n Sassy Release Day - Delightful Doilies and Faith

Welcome to day 2 of our July feature Blog Hops!  Today we're featuring the gorgeous new set called Delightful Doilies designed by Dina Kowal & the wonderful uplifting new sentiment set called Faith (pictured below).

For my card, I used a gesso stamping technique on my card.  I used gesso to stamp the images and once the gesso was dry, I added Distress Stains.  The gesso resists the stains - perfect!  You can see a video on this technique, here.

Sweet 'n Sassy Release Day - Celebrate Today and Doily Border Die

Welcome to day 1 of our July feature Blog Hops!  Today we're featuring our lovely new stamp set called Celebrate Today & our beautiful new Doily Border Dies.

I paired this great stamp set with a chicken wire background and used a variety of Distress Inks to repeatably stamp the pretty floral image.

I kept my doily die card very CAS (Clean and Simple) so I could showcase this sweet design.  Just use a bunch of different designer papers and run the die through your cutting machine a whole bunch of times to get this great layered effect!  Attach with tape and add a great sentiment (this one is from our new Faith stamp set....full reveal in a few days!)

Wait...it's not Monday anymore?  hee hee  Seriously, I made this card last week (way on time) to post this Monday in celebration of Mojo Monday's 300th celebration!  And then I forgot to post it on Monday...head smack!

I put my card together with a bunch of fab papers from Glitz and then created a sunset for my lighthouse silhouette image, from the Landscape Silhouettes stamp set.  Then I just added a sentiment from the Long Stem Silhouettes stamp set and a bird from an older set.
