Sweet 'n Sassy Release Day Celebration - Birthday Bash

Before we get to the card...can I have a shout out for the giant photo size on the new blog!  Love it!  OK, now that I'm over that...let's get on with the party and what better way to start them with a bold "celebrate" sentiment!

Let's celebrate the arrival of an amazing line of new Sweet 'n Sassy stamps along with coordiating dies...Oh my, I love the dies this month!  Our first set is the Birthday Bash stamp set that comes with an a huge die set!  Dies for the gift box, the ribbons, a balloon, a party hat, candles, and more!

I kept my card design for this first set fairly simple...having this idea of the box stuffing spilling out pop in to my head over the weekend...opting to cut out the gift box, lid, and bow with the new dies. I then stamped the images onto my die cut pieces, popped up the pieces with foam tape and added some shredded paper stuffing. Then I just added a scallop border to the bottom of the card and that fabulous sentiment! You can also see how I used the balloon, party hat, and candles die/stamps on this project that I posted last week.  (I'll share the photo here and you can follow the link for the details).

This fantstic stamp set is a must have for all of your birthday  needs and the matching dies make it even more fabulous!  Here are the details on the set and dies...
  • Stamp set includes 18 images and 9 sentiments
  • Set measures approximately 6" x 8"
  • Priced at $26
  • Die set includes 18 dies and retails for $23.75

  12. Oh, your card has given me a wonderful idea! I have shredded $$ from the mint in D.C. and that would be so cute popping out of the package... with "here's your gift; some assembly required". Thank you! Really like your scrapbook page too.
